As you know I haven't been in the mood to draw lately, and well I'm starting to lose my patience. But finally I can feel the craving for it again! :-) I'm very excited!

I have no patience. Well, I haven't had the patience for a very long time now, and it's sucks. Before I could draw in hours with no breaks - now I just can't do it. I doesn't matter if I take a few breaks and so on, with no patience I really can't draw nice. Gaaah it's so disturbing!! Patience, please come back.

When I draw I usually ask people
(family, friends) what the think about
my work, they say it looks nice but I can't see it.

I want to look at my drawings and say "wow that's really nice!" well I can't remember the last time I said so. I guess I just have to accept it and let my patience come back naturally.

I have got much longer now. But I'm unsure if my work is good enough?! It's so hard to tell by my self.



I'll touch up the skin later and then go by the hair. I'll do a background too, I really hope they will like my work when it's done.

What's up?
Any way, today I noticed that there is a distinction between different sketch papers. And when you draw it's a big deal, the sketch you're making can become different with different sketch papers - either good or bad.

To make a long story short, I had promised my friend Mikaela to draw a very sweet picture of her and her boyfriend. But my sketch papers ended. Any way, I got other sketch papers of her (very nice thank you). But when I started to draw I realized the differents between this one and my normal sketch papers I  usually have.  My conclusion was; my normal ones is better. And 'cause I want to make the draw so good as possible I started to search after atleast one (!) of my "old" sketch papers. And yes, I did found one, woho!

I'll start over again with the sketch, but it's no big deal.
My point is, when you draw/paint it's importend that you have the right material.

Yay! My sketch is done, It took me one hour to make.

It's midsummer today! In my case I'll just be at home and take it cool, celebrate with my family and so on. Maybe I'll do something with a few friends later tonight. It's a little bit too late now but I wish we had planned a party (I mean me and my friends). It had been so fun.

By the way, are you going to put flowers under your pillow? I think I will. Hihi.

More color pencils.
I can show you how I drew this one very simple.

 
I started with a sketch. Then, I marked with a black marker 0,7
Then, I continued with the color.

This drawing took me like 2 hours maybe? It takes even harder work with "black & white sketches" if you know what I mean? Hehe.

I went to bed half past three in the "night" yesterday haha, got a little bit scared 'cause it had already started to get light outside. Where did my night go? But heey do not blame the msn for having fun.

I know it's wrong to think like this when the summer has only just begun, but..

Everyone in my school are going to have there own computer next year (I hope it will be a white macbook!) Omay I will study really hard next year, my report card is all ready good (yes, just good. But heey I got MVG in art haha) but next year... well I know I can do so much better. I haven't MVG in english yet, but next year I will, 'cause I'll fight untill I get there.

Just some thoughts. Speaking of summer, now I got all this time to draw, and when I get started I'll show all my drawings.

Hello, I feel for writing a few words now, no big deal.
I have 3 drawings to make (two is portraits, one is a tato) well, a couple named Mikaela and jacob (such a cute picture, I'm looking forwards to it) and another nice girl I'll draw, will later post it to her. And than a tatu for my cousin! (long story I can tell you later).

Think I'll erase some blog posts later. Like I said, I'll start bloging for real in a few days! Sleep tight everyone.
